I’m a Level 3 Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and an IFS Approved Clinical Consultant with additional training in Hakomi Mindfulness-Centered Somatic Therapy, Object Relations, Attachment Theory, Neuroscience and Family Therapy theories. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1991. I have worked in a variety of settings including an out-patient mental health clinic, academia and in private practice. I have an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Philosophy. My work is grounded in the belief that you already have the inner resources you need to heal. Together, we can access those strengths through a process that is gentle, empowering, and deeply respectful of your experience. I welcome people of all ages, races, ethnicities, abilities, disabilities, genders, religions, cultures and sexual orientations who are ready to do this meaningful and powerful work. If you feel called to explore, I’d be honored to walk with you on your healing journey.

It is essential that you find a psychotherapist with whom you feel comfortable discussing the important details of your life experience. Please feel free to contact me for a free and confidential telephone consultation. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about my therapy style and training as well as provide you with an initial sense of who I am as a helping professional. I look forward to hearing from you to discuss whether we would work effectively together.
