Hakomi Mindfulness - Centered Somatic Therapy
Hakomi Mindfulness-Centered Somatic Therapy is a gentle, experiential approach that uses present-moment mindfulness to explore the unconscious beliefs and emotional patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Rooted in principles of nonviolence, compassion, and organicity, Hakomi helps clients slow down, tune into their body’s wisdom, and access the implicit memories and core material that often drive depression, anxiety, and relational struggles. Rather than talking about problems from a distance, Hakomi invites a deep, embodied presence that allows for real-time transformation to emerge from within.
For individuals dealing with trauma, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection, Hakomi offers a profoundly respectful and effective path toward healing. By creating a safe, attuned environment and tracking subtle shifts in body language, tone, and sensation, the therapy helps uncover the roots of limiting patterns and gently supports their integration and release. Clients often report feeling more grounded, self-aware, and connected after sessions—experiencing not just insight, but real change in how they feel, think, and relate to others.
